Posted by Deb (70.105.221.57) on 16/06/07 My great aunt just gave me a beautiful set of my great grandmother's china. On the bottom it has W.H. GRINDLEY AND CO. LTD., SHERATON IVORY, ENGLAND. EACH PIECE HAS A DIFFERENT REG.NO. BUT AN EXAMPLE IS 714550. THEY AL HAVE A DIFFERENT NUMBER PRINTED IN RED ON THE BOTTOM AND A LTTLE GOLD PAINT. IS THERE ANYTHING YOU CAN TELL ME ABOUT IT? MAYBE THE DATE THEY WERE MANUFACTURED AS MY GREAT GRANDMOTHER WAS BORN IN ENGLAND AND CAME TO AMERICA?
