I have a circular pewter flask with a glass "porthole" in the front. When viewing thru the glass it says inside the flask: The Royal and Ancient Clubhouse St. Andrews Fife, Scotland The Home of Golf There is also inscribed an image of the clubhouse. I'm trying to identify when this was made and for what purpose. I'd also like to identify some of the hallmarks on the bottom. It says "Made In Sheffield England" and Fine Quality English Pewter". Please email me at kellners@socal.rr.com and I can forward pictures. All of your assistance will be greatly appreciated.
