The value is a bit difficult to assess. This company still produces silver plate wares and is a division of National Silver. If your teaset is new as of when it was given to you, it is worth approximately 30% of the retail value. Silver plate can be expensive to purchase, but the Rogers Co. produces a few levels of quality and there is a large amount of there product available so it is not rare, but with the tray it has more value. I have seen the teasets on the market for as little as $85 USD and as much as $700 USD. I am soory I can't be more informative.
