I also have a Tea Pot with a stamp of Wm Rogers 800. Mine also has a unique stamp before the name and number. I know that the 800 indicates it is a type of silver, not solid, and is most likely German in origin. I'll be taking mine to the Antique Roadshow tommorrow to have it looked at.
