James Dixon&Sons Teapot

Hello,
Can any one help with a James Dixon & Sons - Sheffield England - Teapot please.?
Brittania OR Pewter.?
It is heavy, which makes me think it is not Brittania.
There is a Trumpet beneath the name of the manufacturer
which I believe was added to their stamp in 1879.?
