I purchased a Gibsons Staffordshire Teapot in Europe in 1970. On the bottom it shows a crown & the words Gibsons written in what appears to be a ribbon under the crown. Staffordshire England written under that. Also on the bottom hand written what looks like either y v or v v 973 with a z under that. The teapot is decorated in what looks like handpainted flowers painted Orange & Black, the teapot itself is white. The flowers don't have as smooth a finish as the teapot. It is trimmed in gold on the spout, handle, rim and the cone shapped knob on the lid. The gold showns very litle wear, barly noticable. It is in excellent condition almost brand new looking, no chips etc.Can anyone tell me anything about the teapot & it's value? Thanks so much, Sandi campbell
