I'm looking for information on 2 pieces I received from my husbands Grandmother who passed on 2 years ago at age 97.The first: A round saucer 5 3/4 inches wide by 1/2 inch deep. 1 inch around the sides it has sideways hearts cut out w/teardrop shapes located beneath and between each heart. It alternates turquoise & white on the inside rim, w/turquoise on the very center. There is gold splash on the outside rim. details on the saucer are leaves and flowers (gold). Back of saucer has a turquoise/gold crown. On the lettering I can not make out the first letter _efton China Hand Painted,Reg.L.S.pat.off. It also has the number 801(all lettering is in gold)
The second: An oblong little plate 7 1/2 inches by 5 1/2 inches, 1/2 inch deep. This is a white plate w/blue, green & brown flowers painted on the inside rim. There is gold on the outer edge and gold accents on each of the long side inner edges. The back label is all in gold. There is a crown, inside the gold stamp under the crown are the words DOULTON BURSLEM, beneath that is ENGLAND and then under that is KATHRYN, under KATHRYN are letters RaN with either an e o or dot at the end then the numbers 251612.
Any information I can receive will be greatly appriciated. Thank You in advance!!! e-mail addy armsof_anangel@prodigy.net
