Pewter "candlestick" type oil lamps

We have had this pair of pewter candlestick style oil lamps for 30 years but have never seen anything close to them anywhere. They have glass oil containers with roman numerals on them I suppose in order to allow a person to put the right amount of oil to burn a certain length of time. They are about 15" high and the pewter frame holding the glass screws into the base. Any help in identifying these would be much appreciated! Thanks!
