I have an old table top piece that I know very little about. It contains two glass bowls, the body of which have been etched in translucent white. The to and bottom rims of the bowls have thin gold borders and the bowls also contain twelve small etched leafs. It is etched "Alden". The bowls sit in a 1950's or 1960's metal (fake gold color) frame which has a large coiled center handle. Any ideas? Was there an Alden Manufacturing or Alden Glass company?
