Beswick items remain very popular and have a huge following. Some people collect just the Birds, some just Dogs and so on. The cattle were not issued in the same large numbers as perhaps some of the horse figures. This does make some of the figures hard to find. Also some of the horned varieties are very prone to damage, this pushes up the price of these models and you should check any you purchase for signs of restoration which drastically reduces the value.
