I just purchased a Burleigh Ware Pied Piper Jug. It looks OK. However the backstamp is the 1940s- Not the 1930s one I have seen on other jugs. It also has no number in black on the bottom of the jug. It just has two black single lines, that look like '\ \'. Could someone please help me with this, Did they make these jugs into the 40s or is this a fake, or maybe a later copy. Thank you. Ian.
