Hi, I posted a message concerning an object I was trying to identify for my mother in law. I was advised to post pictures, and have now done so. They are at: http://www.thepowells.fsnet.co.uk/Adrian/photos.htm The hallmark is not very visible - there is a marking on the outside of the lid which has just about rubbed out, plus one inside. This is an F & Co inside a crown, an anchor, a lion and an 'n'. Any help in identifying it greatly appreciated! Adrian
