I am looking for help in finding information about and ascertaining the value of a collection of 20 plates that I have, as well as an individual and original photograph (mounted on card) and stand of Queen Victoria.

I dont know where to begin........?

The plates are a fantastic bundle mainly of royal connection and with some being of american establishments and people. They seem as though they where produced as collectables with various numbered markings on the reverse of some.

A perfect example of one of the plates is one which celebrates the Coronation of 1902 made by Doulton, another is a commemorate of the 'Victoria Diamond Jubilee 1837-1897' stamped by Hanley potteries with a number 23 and a hand written gold numbered marking of 3 - What does it all mean?

Can someone of knowledge please contact me?
