I recently came across a Bowie knife with markings on the blade " G(some symbol)R", underneath that it reads
"Joseph Rodgers & Sons"
"Cutlers to his Majesty"
"Sheffield *(symbol that looks like an iron cross) England. It is 11 Inches long and what I think is stag bone handle. The Blade is all silver in color and has BOWIE stamped just above the handle on the blade. Does anyone know how I may find out more info on this knife? It is in remarkable shape. Thank you
